The Jackson Avenue student‑formed and student‑led Joy Club proudly partnered with the Mineola High School Student Service Center to support the Mary Brennan INN Soup Kitchen through a meaningful service initiative.

Joy Club members from 3rd and 4th grade led a school‑wide “Making Change” Fundraiser, encouraging students and staff to donate spare change for a great cause. Through their efforts, the club raised over $700 in change, which will be donated alongside proceeds from the MINNeola Macaroni Night hosted by the Mineola High School Service Center.

To celebrate their hard work and generosity, the Joy Club presented a large ceremonial check (and the actual funds raised!) to members of the Student Service Center. It was a joyful moment that made us #MineolaProud as our students came together across grade levels to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community.
