Meadow Drive Kindergarten Celebrates Fundations Success with Alphabet Parade

Kindergartners recently turned their hallways into a joyful celebration of learning as they marked the completion of Unit 1 in the Fundations literacy program. After mastering all of the letters of the alphabet and their sounds, students proudly showcased their knowledge in a colorful and creative letter parade.
Each learner was assigned a letter and invited to decorate a letter vest or dress as something — or someone — that begins with their letter. From vibrant designs to imaginative costumes, the parade was filled with excitement, laughter and plenty of alphabet pride.
Adding to the fun, first and second grade students lined the halls to cheer on the kindergarteners, creating a school-wide celebration of early literacy and encouragement. The enthusiastic applause made the moment even more memorable for the young learners as they showed off their hard work.
The festive event not only reinforced foundational reading skills but also highlighted Meadow Drive’s commitment to making learning engaging, joyful and meaningful for every student.
