On May 6, Mineola had the distinct honor of hosting the Nassau Zone Elementary/Middle School Physical Education Awards.

Sponsored by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, this prestigious ceremony recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, sportsmanship and a commitment to healthy, active lifestyles.

The event was a massive success, thanks in large part to the incredible leadership of Ms. Gayson, who played a major role in organizing and hosting the ceremony in her capacity as the Nassau Zone President-Elect. We are deeply grateful for her dedication to creating such a memorable experience for everyone involved.
